Spring has arrived!

Happy New Year! With the New Year comes new prices. Please check out our prices page for more details. A happy haven is also putting out a quarterly E-newsletter call All About Ahh which includes information on upcoming specials, a seasonal recipe, and up to date ways to take care of yourself in your day to day life. My continuing education this Spring is focused on learning more about nutrition and myofascial release. It is my hope that the nutrition class will allow me to help my clients take a look at how what they are eating can impact their sleep patterns, digestion and overally body health. The Miofascial Release class should allow me to aid my clients in posture correction and increase their range of motion when recovering from chronic pain and injuries.

A happy haven is celebrating its fourth anniversary this month and I'd like to invite everyone to come on down and enjoy a 1 ½ hour massage for $15 off the regular price. This includes the Healing Stones treatment that has become so popular. All My Company products will also be 25% off. The Special runs through the month of October and people can buy up as many massages as they want as long as it is paid for during October.

2007 has been a busy year for A happy haven and some wonderful new changes are occurring. First and foremost A happy haven has enlisted the services of Certified Massage Therapist Nicole Nyquist so that we can offer our clients more options in appointment times and services. Between Nicole and I we should be able to offer massage Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM-9:00PM and if there is a need I might be able to talk Nicole into doing a few massages on Sunday.
Another major change this year is that the Spring Special will be held in June instead of May. The reason for this is that my mother and I are celebrating our 25th and 50th birthdays this year with a three week trip to Europe and since our birthdays are in May we will be gone for most of the month. Nicole will, of course, be taking massages during the time I am away and I strongly encourage my clients to give her a call if they need a massage; Nicole can be reached at the usual 612-747-9794 number. The Spring Special discounts this year are $10 off any 1 hour massage, $15 off a reflexology treatment, and 25% off all Caren products while supplies last. As always please feel free to buy up as many massages and reflexology treatments at the reduced rate, during the month of June, as you like.
In anticipation of the warmer and sunnier months A happy haven is now carrying a new face lotion from Caren that has an SPF of 15 in it. I've stocked it in Fragrance Free and Caren's signature Caren sent. It will sell for $15.00 and the tube holds 4 oz of product. I'm particularly excited about this product because it has become a daily part of my life. I've put it on in the morning and rode my bike for 10 miles in the heat of the day and managed to avoid getting sunburned. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
The last major change is that I will be increasing my hours and maki1ng a go of doing Massage Therapy full time which is between 15 and 20 hour a week in the massage world. I would like to remind everyone that for every person you refer you get five dollars off your next massage. Please come on down and help me celebrate this new adventure in my life.

A happy haven is pleased to announce its third anniversary this October. The last year has seen the addition of Healing Stones to the services offered and the change from being a sole proprietorship to a Limited Liability Company (LLC). And talking about prices I wanted to remind you all that the Spring Special is coming up and will be held through the month of May. The special will include $10 off a 1 hour massage or $10 off a reflexology treatment. And remember, you can buy as many gift certificates at the special rate, during May, as your heart desires.
Other fun things to keep your eye out for are a new sign to greet you as you come in, new business cards, with a brand new logo, and a new brochure for you to take as a quick reference to prices, different techniques we can try, and my basic hours. Though I encourage you to call if you want an appointment during a time not listed. You'd be surprised how often we can work something out.
A happy haven will also begin carrying products this summer. I am currently working with several companies to find what I think are the best products for you.
