Welcome to the wonderful world of essential oils. Below you will find a list of all the essential oils that are currently available at A happy haven. With each oil you will see some of its benefits. All oils are applied directly on the areas of concern. If you have any further questions or would like to request a certain oil, please talk to Joy at the time of your appointment.
Single Oils
- Lavender
- Benefits: Balances the body and works wherever it is needed. When in doubt use lavender. Covers basically everything from arthritis and asthma to whooping cough and wounds. Ask you therapist for more details.
- Cedarwood
- Benefits: Has a calming effect when angry, and helps with bronchitis, cellulite loss, nervous tention, and Urinary tract infections. A purifying oil which helps with anxiety, congestion, coughs, water retention, sinusitis, and skin diseases.
- Chamomile, German
- Benefits: Neutralizes allergies and increases skin regeneration. It is a decongestant and digestive tonic. May also help with inflamed joints, insomnia, menopausal problems, headaches and stress reduction.
- Orange
- Benefits: It helps with insomnia, menopause, palpitation, and chronic diarrhea. Orange is also often used to help overcome depression.
- Lemon
- Benefits: Reduces anxiety, helps dissolve cellulite, improves clarity of thought, and is invigorating and warming.
- Geranium:
- Benefits: Improves circulation, and helps with depression, digestion, ridding Insomnia, coping with Kidney stones, Menstrual problems, and Ringworm, and does wonders for expectant mothers.
- Patchouli
- Benefits: Calms anxiety, is very relaxing, and helps with allergies and eczema.
- Peppermint
- Benefits: Soothes digestive difficulties and alleviates heartburn. Reduces fevers and is purifying and stimulating to the mind.
- Cinnamon Bark
- Benefits: Fights Viral diseases, infections, flu, and exhaustion. Increases the immune system.
